Well, I escaped another family trip. It was insane, as always. My siblings tested my patience. We got lost a couple of times, and then there was that hilarious incident at that tourist trap.
I'm drained, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We have stories to tell.

My phone is officially silenced/turned off/put away. Emails can hold on until I get back. Social media can keep spinning. Sometimes, the best/ideal/perfect escape isn't a place/location/spot at all. It's a state of mind/feeling/perception. It's not about reality/escaping from life/finding perfection, it's about creating a sanctuary/building an oasis/dreaming big and letting that vision/imagination/fantasy fuel my spirit/soul/inner self.
